Power for the Challenger SXT comes from a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that puts out 303 horsepower. The R/T gets a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 with 375 horsepower, and if you bump up to the R/T Scat Pack, you'll get a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 that makes 485 horsepower. If you choose the Hellcat, it comes with a supercharged 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V-8 that delivers 717 horsepower, while the Redeye has a more high-output version of this engine that makes 797 horsepower. The Super Stock also has the high-output 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V-8, but it's tuned for 807 horsepower.

You can't beat the Challenger's straight-line speed and powerful acceleration. The SXT and GT models with the V-6 engines have more than enough power for everyday driving, and you'll still get the satisfying engine rumble when you press on the gas.

Interior

There's room for five in the Challenger, and the cabin has the space for passengers to spread out. It comes standard with cloth upholstery, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and dual-zone automatic climate control, and bumping up to the R/T Scat Pack gets you a heated steering wheel and heated front seats. Optional upgrades for the cabin include ventilated front seats and leather upholstery.

The technology in the Challenger starts with a 7-inch touch screen and the Uconnect infotainment system with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
